Philippians 1:8-11 For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; 11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
“Caring prayer has the glory of God as its highest aim.”
In a world desperately searching for answers, we believe that Christ and His Word are the ultimate source for lasting hope.
Our central purpose is very clear… to display the glory of God. From our corporate worship, to our outreach, to our men and women’s gatherings, to our family ministry, Jesus Christ is our greatest treasure that we desire to delight in and make known.
Thanks for a number of you that helped with our workday on Saturday. We accomplished a lot of tasks and had a great time together.
COHBC Bike Ride
We had a great time on our annual bike ride to Harrison from Lake Chatcolet marina. The Ice Cream was great and the fellowship was encouraging!
COHBC Summer Camp
Camp was such a tremendous blessing in so many ways. Our corporate worship in song was a joy, the preaching was extremely challenging and encouraging and the fellowship and fun we had together was a delight. Thank-you to so many of you that helped so much!
Joshua Project seeks to answer the questions that result from the Great Commission's call to make disciples among every nation or people group:
Who are the ethnic people groups of the world?
Which people groups still need an initial church-planting movement in their midst?
What ministry resources are available to help outreach among the least-reached?
This Week's Mission's Focus:
Please pray this week for P and D C, as they continue their ministry with the B people and in Bible translation work for other people groups around the world.
