P and D C

P&D have served in the work of Bible translation for many years, laboring in the field in linguistics, developing a written

language for the B_ people, and working with local people to translate the B_ Scriptures for that people group.

In addition to training, equipping and consulting with members of the B_ Translation Team in the areas of Scripture

Translation, promotion, and production of supplementary materials to assist the B_ church, P_ also serves as a

resource and mentor for workers in other Southeast Asian language projects.
 
P&D request prayer in the following areas:

    * That P, D and sons I and A will walk closely with the Lord on a daily basis.
    * For P as he shepherds and consults with brothers and sisters who are working among several Bible-less people

groups in Southeast Asia. Pray for wisdom and creative ideas as he comes alongside colleagues who are working in

difficult situations.
    * That P will have good, consistent communication with the B_ Translation Team, and that the members of the

Team and their families will continue growing in their faith.
    * For Scripture distribution throughout the B_ region and for growing literacy.  Pray that the hearts of the people will

be moved to read the Scriptures and follow the Lord.
    * For the outreach of B_ believers into neighboring villages.
    * For the Luke video team as they travel throughout the region showing the video and training church leaders on how

to lead Bible studies.  Pray for receptive hearts.
    * For Ambe S. as begins to serve as a pastor, while also continuing to serve the wider B_ community through Bible

translation and training of elders. Pray that he will balance his time serving a local congregation, working on translation

projects, and leading his own family. Pray also that he will continue to live a life above reproach.
    * For the staff of the B_ radio station, that they will be faithful to the Lord in their broadcasting of Scriptures and

worship songs. Pray that the Lord will protect this radio outreach from technological, financial and other difficulties.
    * For national and expatriate personnel who are developing translation helps and other resources needed by

national translators who work with people groups in their own countries.
